is mercier crazy??????? We can argue that argumentation leads to better results only because there are more informations in the circle if we talk with other people… not for an evolutionary trick… I really think that mercier and sperber findings are more a theoretical provocation than a possible way of research. I really hope that evolutionary psychology is not in line with this assumption. Too much theorization, even if a “group theorization”, can lead to much confusion, not only to better conclusion. Social psychology in the last 20 years is a good example of this over-theroziation due to over-argumentation . Sorry mercier. Yours is a senseless point of view.
