Part 1 of Is Life Inevitable?, featuring Caleb Scharf, director of Astrobiology at Columbia University in New York, and Laurie Barge, research scientist in astrobiology at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where Molly visited her lab to discuss her experiment recreating hydrothermal vents based on the chemistry of the early Earth.
